• Health & Safety
• The computer – input and output devices
• Word Processing – using touch typing
• Internet
• E-mails
• Microsoft Excel – Spreadsheets

Learning outcomes
As a result of this course it may be possible for you to:
• Overcome initial fears of the computer
• Proceed with confidence with simple typing tasks
• To use the internet for research or reading purposes
• Reach the standard to complete the eDCC Certificate
