Identifying the key skills your business needs
Effective use of own skill set
Identifying skills gaps and ways to fill them
As a result of attending this course it may be possible for you to:
- Projecting the right image
- Communicating the right message
- Using questions & listening to build a good reputation
- How to use networking effectively
Teaching methods, learning activities
Experiential exercises, group discussions, case studies and self-study assignments.
Through quizzes, discussions, learner presentations and a variety of set assignments, the tutor will ensure that learners are making progress. (delete if inappropriate or add some of your own)
Previous learning required
Recent experience of establishing or running a new / start up business is assumed.
Essential materials or equipment
Learners will need access to a computer and the internet outside the course activities.

Each module is designed to build on existing knowledge and may lead to attendance at other module courses or a longer more specific and detailed course.
