This short film was made by our good friends over at Donkey Stone Films. It shows artist Chris Lewis Jones making two works in the style of Jackson Pollock. The abstract expressionist style and heavy use of jazz is indicative of Pollock’s practice, however unlike Pollock, Chris was sober when he went to work. This event was conceived and delivered on Feb 13th 2010 as part of the Workers’ Educational Association’s commitment to the Nottinghamshire Loves Learning project.
Stop Press. Since the video went onto Vimeo two days ago Big Star TV have invited us to submit it to their independent documentary makers’ competition. The competition has a grand prize of $50,000!
