Hockney in Nottingham

As a bonus for attending a Visual & Performing Arts meeting Alan and I got to join a guided tour of the David Hockney exhibition at the new Nottingham Contemporary. In just eight years from 1960-1968 Hockney went from gloomy etchings based on ‘A Rake’s Progress’ by Hogarth to the iconic and stylised ‘A bigger Splash’ – quite something.
