COURSE OUTLINE
Course Aims
To introduce learners to a variety of approaches to writing effectively in a range of styles and genres.
To practise writing
To encourage critical analysis and self-analysis

- Reminiscence
- Autobiography
- Fiction
- Non-fiction
- Poetry
- Exercises in writing styles
- Hooks and rhythms
- Metaphors
- Vocabulary extension
Learning Outcomes
As a result of attending this course learners will be able to:
- write effectively in a range of styles
- read others’ work critically and analytically
- use positive criticism to comment on others’ work
